In an imaginary world far from reality, they amuse and amuse themselves with ropes that constantly change shapes to give birth to beings and movements, that far from being strange to us remind us somehow of ourselves.

In an space where imagination has no limits, the two jugglers invent an original and poetic language combining object manipulation, juggling and danse.

Petites pièces

( cabaret, 25 minutes)

« Petites pièces » is a cabaret composed of 5 solo- acts at the crossing road of the art of juggling, danse and mime. The cabaret is a joyful combination where Kim's grace respondsto the clowningof Jive. It's a cabaret fullof poetry where convemtional jugglingprops(clubs, rings) but also less convemtional props (broom, cane) fly to the rythm of the music.

Trait d'union

( provisionel title, show in preparation)

After 3 years of working on the project " Out of lines" and of exploring objects made of ropes, lots of different artistic paths have been aborded but couldn't be accomplished in a single show (Lineá).

It seemed obvious for us to continue working with the same props and to create a second show where the graphical and choregraphical aspects will multiplied by 5 persons.

The project emphasizes the use of new juggling objects, non conventional objects which appeal more to imagination than usual objects like balls, clubs or rings. The objects used here all belong to a big family of objects, originating all from a mother-object : the rope.  

The white organic rope, easy to modify in length and shape, bearing symbolic meanings, fires the creativity of its manipulator, dancer or juggler. The rope allows a very graphic work around the straight and corrugated lines, around the hard and soft itself into which the body of the dancer/juggler dives.

A project thought of in several steps :

The idea of the project is to realize it in several steps and to present it to different audiences so that the artwork can ripen before it achieves its final shape. During this process the company encourages artists from all horizons (theatre, pantomime, dance, puppets,…) meeting each other, working together and sharing their experiences.

A first show "Linéa" resulted of this project and is touring at present.

A second show " Trait d'union " (provisional title) is in preparation as well as the creation of an entire rope- univers beyond stage. This project is meant to open up to other artistes and art forms.
